Time for Major Overhaul: Ronald Koeman Appointed as New Head Coach for Barcelona

Barcelona have decided to sack Quique Setien as manager of Barcelona after an embarrassment in the champions league quarter final. Soon after the humiliating defeat in the champions league knockout tie,it was obvious that Setien's days as Barcelona manager are over with Spanish side looking for a major overhaul after a trophy less season for the first time in 14 years.Barcelona fans were in complete shock as their side got hammered by Bundesliga winner in the quarter final stage of champions league.Even though Bayern Munich were favorites to win the tie because of their fantastic run over the period from the start post lock down winning all their league matches as well as domestic cup. Koeman will sign three year deal as Barcelona manager but his main focus will be bring back the fans on his side.Koeman has previously managed in the Premier league for Everton where he was sacked because of poor results but as a Netherlands's coach his record are better and a positive change has been seen in the Holland squad. Ronald Koeman will have slight advantage as he has Barcelona DNA in himself playing for the club as a defender.
